WMMA5: Developer's Journal Empty WMMA5: Developer's Journal

The developer's journal is a popular feature that we've done for the past handful of games. The way it works is that every weekday there will be a new post that will reveal some of the new additions and changes that will appear in WMMA5.

The journal will run for one month and one week, from the 23rd October to the 24th November.

Due to time and space constraints, not every new feature will be revealed or discussed during this journal. However, there is a button on the title screen of WMMA5 that opens a window that lists everything (along with a short description), so you will have the opportunity to review all the changes prior to the game going on sale.

Dazu gleich mal den nächsten Progress Report:

The Game

The final interface pieces were added today, so the game is now finished from a visual stand point. There's a couple of pieces that are probably going to be tweaked, but this is always a big milestone in the development.

In terms of the game itself, testing has continued to go really well. Some extra features have been added or tweaked based on tester feedback, but for the most part it appears to be super stable and very easy to use.

The Database

The database has now been fully updated, which was a truly marathon task. I'm really pleased with it, and it's a lot more solid than WMMA4's version. I have 100+ new characters still to add, and that'll be addressed over the Christmas and New Year period.

What Now?

As well as the above, I'll be doing some final deep testing to try and iron out any bugs that have managed to slip through the cracks. If all goes to plan, this will be happening in the first week of January. Assuming nothing major gets found, I'd expect to be announcing the release date after that.
